On May 1, around 60 community members and members of the Socialist Party USA, Democratic Socialists of America NWA, Socialist Alternative, Food Not Bombs NWA, Arkansas Renters United, and Ozark Workers Alliance joined with Bite Back Coalition in Rogers, Arkansas for a celebration of International Workers Day. A food drive was held to benefit Food Not Bombs, there was live music, and a sing-a-long for people with popular labor songs like "Solidarity Forever" and "Which Side are You On?". Respects were also paid to the martyrs of the Haymarket Riots. The focus of the event was on building a stronger left presence in Arkansas and celebrating the working class.
