Out there serving the people! Our distribution was in Parkview Green, South City, Redding. We were able to serve fresh fruits, veggies, cold drinks. We intend this to be the first of many mutual aid actions. We’re out there helping working class households through an epidemic, illegal evictions and housing policies, where the government and corporations have abandoned the people. The Shasta Socialist Food Distro initiative is truly inspiring—it’s great to see such community-driven efforts. It reminds me of how food connects us, just like exploring argentinian meat cuts helped me create amazing meals for friends and family. Finding quality resources like that has been a game-changer for hosting gatherings!
