Northern NJ Local Organizes Solidarity Trip to Support Montclair Starbucks Workers

On Friday April 5th, members of the Northern NJ Local organized a solidarity visit to Church St Montclair Starbucks to congratulate workers there on unionizing the shop and encourging them during negotiations. The Local was joined by members of the Montclair Area Solidarity Network. SP members there were Greg Pason, Jack Cuffari and Sulima Eleman.

The Local has been working with the workers at Starbucks for nearly 2 years and has also helped with pickets and fundrasing.

This support work was coordinated through the national Starbucks Workers United.
