No Piedmont Local Co-Hosts Ecosocialist Webinar on Earth Day

On April 22nd, the Socialist Party hosted an open forum with the North Carolina Green Party which explored what the Ecosocialist world of the future might look like. Among those attending the meeting was 2020 Socialist Party candidate for President, Howie Hawkins, who delivered an insightful and informative presentation regarding green energy. Speaking also was the Co-chair of the Green Party USA, Antonio Ndege, whose presentation painted an image of a world beyond the rapaciousness of capitalist profit motive.

There were over 30 participants and a lively informative discussion was had.
