Capital District NY Local Stands in Solidarity with Palestine

On Sat. May 15 CDSP gathered with activists from Albany and the capital region on Nakba day to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people against the current military aggression against Gaza, but also against Israeli apartheid. The rally was very well attended, and featured several excellent speakers from the co-sponsoring groups and others, including Palestinian Rights Committee, Jewish Voice for Peace, ANSWER Coalition, and Bethlehem Neighbors for Peace. This rally was just one of many held around the world yesterday in support of the Palestinian people and their right to live with independence and dignity, free of Israeli military occupation and the continued expropriation of their land by Israeli settlers. As long as the occupation continues, so will the resistance.
