Northern NJ Members Help Restart Community Garden and Plan for Spring

Northern NJ Local members joined other community organizations connected to the Northeast Earth Coalition in helping rebuild community gardens in the town's fourth ward. The work started at the Pine st Garden, where new planters and boxes we rebuilt and filled with soil. The work is connected to the Local's commitment to building community gardens in the town and connecting the issue to the food sovereignty and anti-gentrification work for 2017.

The Local later met at for the March general meeting where the gardens as well as efforts around traffic safety and infrastructure campaigns.
