International Women's Day at Moorpark College

The Socialist Party of Ventura County (SPVC) hosted an event at Moorpark College for International Women's Day 2018, passing out pamphlets and engaging with working-students and youth about the importance of the holiday. Discussions on socialist feminism and the struggles against patriarchy were a pressing topic, and a key feature in the literature and information provided to those who interacted with the SPVC table. In the end, 140 pamphlets were distributed. In addition, a number of individuals had shown great interest and support for the work of the Socialist Party being done in the community.
