Black Hills Socialist Party Joins the Women's March in Rapid City, SD

The Black Hills Socialist Party participated in the 2018 Women's March in Rapid City, SD. Our signage and literature remained womxn focused, trans-inclusive, and intersectional. We called attention to specific issues faced, currently and historically, by Native American women in our community. Self-defense Training with the Socialist Party Los Angeles Local

On Saturday, January 20th, the Socialist Party Los Angeles Local held an open self-defense training session. A martial arts lesson was given along with an introductory first aid course which included CPR training and wound dressing. The next self-defense training session will continue the martial arts series and will add cyber-security.

Responding to Capitalism's Wars at Home and Abroad

As part of the Coalition for Peace, Revolution, and Social Justice, members of the Socialist Party Los Angeles Local helped to organize a panel titled "Responding to Capitalism's Wars at Home and Abroad" at the Art Share in downtown Los Angeles. Speakers included Hamid Khan of the Stop LAPD Spying Coalition, Maureen Cruise of Health Care for All - Los Angeles, Professor Kevin Anderson of the International Marxist Humanist Organization, and Ali Kiani of the International Marxist Humanist Organization.

Help SP Central AL Found A Community Center

The Socialist Party of Central Alabama is raising money to open a new community center in Montgomery and fund the creation of a community garden. As a political organization committed to improving the lives of working and disenfranchised peoples, our community center will serve as a place where people can go for the help they need. We plan to provide aid for people looking to sign up for public assistance; we plan to establish a program for donating clothes directly to the community, as well as fresh produce grown from our garden and other grocery items; we plan to offer basic health screenings, internet service and much more.
