Northern New Jersey Local members joined other peace and justice activists at the New Jersey Peace Action "Love to Afghanistan" Vigil on Valentine's weekend. The vigil was called to increase aid to Afghanistan and end the sanctions policies and asset freezes that humanitarian groups say are driving the current famine. The vigil was part of a national call for Valentines weekend events.
