The Northern New Jersey Socialist Party co-sponsored a Stop Line 3 Solidarity Rally on Earth Day to protest funding of the Line 3 Pipeline. The events started with a rally featuring local Sunrise Movement student speakers and a representative of the Ramapough Munsee Lenape Nation. There was a march and picket of two local banks branches of banks funding the projects, Chase and TD Bank.
On April 22nd, the Socialist Party hosted an open forum with the North Carolina Green Party which explored what the Ecosocialist world of the future might look like.
