The Black Hills Socialist Party participated in the 2018 Women's March in Rapid City, SD. Our signage and literature remained womxn focused, trans-inclusive, and intersectional. We called attention to specific issues faced, currently and historically, by Native American women in our community. On Saturday, January 20th, the Socialist Party Los Angeles Local held an open self-defense training session. A martial arts lesson was given along with an introductory first aid course which included CPR training and wound dressing. The next self-defense training session will continue the martial arts series and will add cyber-security.
